Lextech’s Digital Mortgage Platform Honoured at VIC iAwards 2025

Lextech has been named among a select group of Austrlaia’s most innovative companies at the 2025 Victorian iAwards, presented by peak body for innovation and technology; the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA). The company received the merit Award in recognition of its groundbreaking work in digital mortgage processing and legal-tech innovation designed for Australian lenders.

The Victorian iAwards are Australia’s longest-running and most respected technology awards program, celebrating organisations that deliver meaningful impact through digital innovation. Lextech’s platform, which supports over one-third of Australian lenders and facilitates more than $6 billion in property transactions annually, was singled out for its excellence in transforming mortgage and property settlement processes.

Accepting the award and speaking at the ceremony, Lextech Chief Growth Officer, Rafe Berding, said innovation happens at many levels, but for Lextech, it’s about delivering security, certainty, and speed to borrowers.

Victorian Minister for Economic Growth and Jobs and Minister for Finance, Danny Pearson MP, also addressed the ceremony, discussing the importance of digital innovation to Victoria’s future, highlighting the state’s leadership in AI, data infrastructure, and the importance of fostering greater diversity in tech.

The 2025 Victorian iAwards ceremony brought together leaders from government, industry, and the technology community to celebrate Victoria’s most outstanding innovators across categories including AI, cyber security, automation, and digital government.

This Award recognises Lextech’s leadership in legal-tech innovation and digital transformation within Australia’s mortgage and property sectors, underscoring the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions that benefit the broader financial ecosystem.

Lextech now advances to the National iAwards Ceremony on 28 August in Adelaide.
