Purcell Partners Rebrands to Lextech as Technology Drives Growth

Purcell Partners, one of Australia’s most awarded national law firms serving the banking and financial services sector, today announced its official rebrand to Lextech.

The Melbourne-headquartered firm supports approximately one-third of Australia’s lenders, providing specialised legal services and technology across the mortgage lifecycle, spanning origination, processing and financial settlement.

Over more than 30 years, the privately Australian-owned and operated firm has expanded nationally while building a mortgage processing platform that uniquely connects lenders, brokers and borrower representatives, facilitating the flow of loans through to financial settlement.

Lextech CEO Jason Popkowski said the brand Lextech signifies the company’s strategic direction and reinforces its leadership in delivering not only national legal services for mortgage processing, but also significant value, speed and security through its market-leading technology platform.

“For more than three decades, we have earned the trust of lenders across the country by combining deep legal expertise with the latest technology innovation. Today, we are building on that foundation, investing in advanced technology that simplifies complexity, enhances transparency and enables lenders to operate with greater certainty and control,” Mr. Popkowski said.

“Lextech reflects the business we have become, a modern legal-tech partner built for the future of lending. By combining award-winning local legal experts with world-class technology, we are creating smarter, faster and more secure loan processing, while delivering more transparent, intuitive borrower experiences.”

CEO Jason Popkowski said Lextech is trusted by lenders across Australia for its powerful combination of legal expertise and advanced technology.

Lextech’s platform brings together lenders, brokers, borrowers and their representatives in real time, streamlining the journey from approval through to settlement. Through automation, electronic mortgage documentation, open API integrations into existing banking platforms, together with guided digital signing, Lextech reduces friction, improves accuracy, giving lenders greater certainty at scale.

“As expectations continue to rise, our focus remains on equipping lenders with the tools, insight and legal confidence they need to grow, while ensuring borrowers benefit from a simpler, more seamless path to settlement,” Mr. Popkowski said.

With national operations, Lextech is 100% Australian owned and operated, and its award-winning technology platform is ISO 27001 accredited — the global standard for information security — providing lenders and their customers with the highest levels of protection, trust and operational resilience.
