Lextech adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other applicable privacy laws. If you are located outside of Australia, you may have additional rights.

We collect information necessary to provide and improve the Lextech Platform and Services. The types of information we collect depend on your interaction with us and may include:-  

your name, email address, company name, job title, contact information;  

transactional details, dates and amounts (if applicable):  

information related to a customer support request, the nature of the issue and contact information; or 

with your consent, contact information to send you marketing communications about the Lextech Platform and Services. 

How we use your information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Lextech Platform and Services, personalise your experience, and develop new features;  

manage your account, process payments, and communicate with you about your account;  

to provide customer support and respond to your inquiries;

Why we collect use, and disclose your personal information 

Lextech collects, uses and discloses personal information as needed to operate our business and for the provision of the Lextech Platform and Services, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.  

We process data based on consent, contract necessity, legal obligation and legitimate interests as defined above.

Data Security & Retention  

We prioritise the security of your information and maintain our infrastructure and IT systems in accordance with industry best practices and the internationally recognised ISO 27001 security standard. 

Where data storage is directly in Lextech’s control, we endeavour to host all personal information and documents on technology infrastructure in locations within Australia. However, from time to time we may engage third-party service providers who may store and access data outside of Australia in accordance with their own privacy policies and legal obligations.  While we take reasonable steps to ensure the protection of your personal information, we cannot guarantee the location of storage by these third-party providers. 

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.  

Your rights  

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:-  

the right to access the personal information we hold about you;  

the right to request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions; and  

the right to object to the processing of your personal information for marketing purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on our website and notify you as required by law.
